Bowen

He is top draw, could easily scored 4 yesterday. Other than Lanzini assist. I don't know what Dani Dyer has done to him, but it's working.
Pulled down when through with keeper to beat.
Great save that dropped to Fornals goal.
Shot going in, certain goal until deflected away off defender in first half.

I've watched Saka a few times, he looks pony.
Not a patch on Bowen or Smith-Rowe IMO. And as for Tyrone MIngs, he's barely Premier league standard

I dont think Bowen is worthy of a England call up just yet, he lacks the quality and decision making
Greenwood would be my pick
Fuck knows how Ward-Prowse, Mings and Saka are in though
Tomori and Smith - Rowe be better options IMO
Oh and well done Southgate for picking 4 holding midfielders for the games against ALBANIA and SAN MARINO

Talking of Villa, I'm surprised Kortney Hause wasn't able to ELBOW his way into the squad.

Sterling and Rashford can count themselves lucky to be there based on their club seasons so far, although Rashford has scored when he's actually played.
They are both always going to get favourably looked on because of who their clubs are, though.
I guess Abraham is in there because most other viable strikers are injured? He's hardly banging them in for Roma.
Glad JWP has got a look in. I'm hopeful given the opposition that Rice will only appear in one of the games and maybe not be needed at all. Will be good to get him rested.

Saka isn't even the best winger for Arsenal at the moment.
Hopefully we get a lucky draw for the World Cup again, otherwise it's not going to be enjoyable.

How does Ward Prowse make any National squad, take out the set pieces he offers nothing.

Southgate is fucking awful.
There's a reason why the likes of Stones and Sancho aren't playing for their clubs.

Re: Bowen

They analysed him on MOTD and showed how much running he was doing. He sprinted up the park and his run was used as a decoy. It broke down and we had to then defend and he sprinted back down the park, got goal side, ball bobbled loose and we broke out so he sprinted back up the park, Fornals got flattened, Anotnio nudged it through to Bowen and he then got fouled for the red card.
Chris Wilder (although I'm not a fan) was waxing lyrical about Bowen and said what he did there would be the product of the constant box to box sprints they do in training. He said the players hate it, but if you want to be a top team, they have to do it.

I fucking love him.
Alongside Rice, Soucek, and Antonio he's first on that team sheet.
Epitomises everything good about the team.

Gives 100% every game. Love that about him and indeed all the other players. Working really hard for each other week in week out.
The little bit highlighted on MOTD by Wilder was great. Bowen raced back 70 yards to defend, then we won the ball and he turned right round and sprinted 70 yards the other way to take the shot and ultimately set up Fornals' goal.
Superb stuff.
He does need to try and work on being better in the opposition penalty area and his shooting, but if he can up that a little, bit, what a great player he will be. Still only 24 as well. With Fornals being 25 and Benrahma 26, that's a very healthy position to be in with three exciting young players. Fornals is another who has absolutely worked his bollocks off to improve and adapt to the premier league.

Good player who has the prerequisites to become exceptional Reminds of one of my all time favourites - Mark Ward, who in his own right reminded me of the brilliant Steve Coppell Great to watch a wide man fly up the wing and then be prepared to graft selflessly Some way to go, but as I said, he has the potential
